The Prime Minister of Vietnam lists cryptocurrency and blockchain as one of the country’s five priority technologies

On December 19, it was reported that Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc recently signed an order to list cryptocurrency and blockchain as one of the top five priorities. According to the released document, this decision is part of the priority of “actively participating in the research, development and application of the fourth industrial revolution.” Since 2018, the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam has initiated several measures to strengthen and manage encryption-related activities in the country.
